Write-offs of products and semi-product items

Until now, if you needed to write off a finished dish or a prepared batch, such as spoiled goulash, burnt soup or a damaged cake, you had to write off each ingredient separately.

Now, the whole process is much simpler.

In Administration, under Inventory → Write-offs, you can now:

• Enter the name of a product or semi-product item directly into the table

• Immediately see which inventory items will be written off and in what quantities based on the recipe

• When editing a write-off, see the specific written-off product or semi-product item, not just a list of individual ingredients

This is currently the most requested feature in inventory management, so we believe it will be welcome news for a large number of our customers.

Stock-up check for duplicates

If you upload a delivery note into stock-up and later you or another user tries to stock-up the same document again, Storyous will alert you that a stock-up with the same document number already exists.

You can still submit the stock-up, but this notification gives you more control and makes it easier to avoid unintended duplicates.

If you work with any of the following suppliers, you can now send delivery notes directly to Storyous and stock up on goods automatically:

• ITALMARKET SLOVAKIA, a.s.  🇸🇰

This removes the need for manual retyping, reduces the risk of errors, and makes stock-in even faster.
