In recent months, information has been emerging about the possible return of electronic sales records (EET) to the Czech Republic.

The new government states in its program statement, for example:
"From 2027, we will introduce EET 2.0, thereby ensuring a predictable and fair environment for entrepreneurs across all sectors, taking into account small businesses and occasional earnings, which the system will not apply to. The solution will be built on state-of-the-art systems and will not require mandatory printing of receipts or constant online connection. Entrepreneurs will have the software of the Financial Administration of the Czech Republic available free of charge. The measure will be linked to specific reliefs (for example, a direct tax discount for registered self-employed persons, stopping the increase in self-employed contributions, exemption from tips, lower VAT in gastronomy, lower corporate income tax, etc.)."
Although exact details or dates are not yet available, we want to assure our clients that the possible introduction of EET is not a complication for us.
Experience in the Czech Republic and Slovakia
We have already implemented EET in the Czech Republic when it was first introduced. Thanks to this, we have built technology, infrastructure and processes that can be quickly deployed again if necessary. At the same time, we also have extensive experience from the Slovak market, where sales records are actively used.
EET will be easy and without unnecessary costs for our clients
If EET is actually implemented, it will not mean any additional license fees. As with all other legislative changes (e.g., VAT adjustments):
We inform clients in a timely manner how and where to set up the necessary data, including any certificates.
The process will be designed to be as simple as possible.
System features and updates will be free of charge. If there is a need to purchase any additional hardware, such as an SD card for fiscal data storage, that will be the only required investment on the client's side.
Clients will have our support available 24/7.
We consider this a core value of our system.
Storyous is always fully compliant with applicable legislation, and our users can rely on this.
