Taiko, a.s. is behind some of Prague’s most well-known food and beverage projects, from the iconic Žluté lázně to the Easter and Christmas markets at Old Town Square.

This isn’t a single venue, but rather a true “city within a city.” Dozens of stalls, thousands of guests every day, and hundreds of staff working on-site. At this scale, every second counts. Speed, reliability, and flawless operation of every single sale are essential.

Keeping such a large and dynamic network of operations under control is a daily challenge. Multiple locations, different menus, seasonal events alongside long-term operations, hundreds of employees, and constant movement. Taiko needed a system that could handle heavy traffic, remain easy to use, and at the same time provide a central overview of the entire business.


“We have operations where the menu is relatively simple and there’s no need for expensive or complex hardware. Having everything in one device is ideal, the battery life is great, it lasts a full day without charging. And being able to accept card payments even in locations without Wi-Fi is absolutely perfect,” explains Jílek.
